This formal space is the entrance to a red brick Victorian family house. Buxus spheres, sweeping waves of white pebbles draw the eye through the six garden beds. Clumps of Echeverria and Zoysia grass modernise the classic and formal plantings. Creating surprises and splashes of texture, Westringia and Plectranthus add to the repeated planting scheme.

A challenge to a uniform garden is the contrasting sunlight exposure throughout. Featuring areas of intense sun and areas of heavy shade, the plant selection needed to be considered and retrained.
