Landscape design, Planting scheme, Installation, Maintenance

These gardens feature a fusion of modernity and natural beauty, where creativity flourishes, proving that a small space can come alive with a soothing sea of foliage plantings set within creatively designed spaces.

A typically Prahran property, set within the boundaries of a long and narrow space, the landscape required innovation and the considered use of space to create interest and connection. Contrasting the heritage Victorian facade with a contemporary design., the modest spaces envelope you with a gentle palette blue-grey plants. The carefully curated selection of plants offers a medley of textures provide a delight to the senses.

The front garden, laneway strip and verge may be small planting spaces. but they are packed with a large variety of plant species, including tower cactus, blue fescue grasses, Persian shield, blue star ferns and much more. The explosion of foliage frames the traditional Victorian red clinker brick building. With the contrasting contemporary rendered cement fence, oversized blue stone driveway and black steel finishes.

Considered use of garden lighting accent the materials and planting allowing your approach to the space to be softened and highlighted.

This garden and Ryan were lucky enough to also feature on Australia’s favourite garden show, Gardening Australia.
